BELGIUM GAA GROUNDS

From Thursday 27 January, the Belgium GAA training grounds will be located in the VUB University Campus, with use of the floodlit rugby pitch, changing rooms and showers.

This is a map of the campus - the rugby pitch is no. 6 with the athletic track going around it. The building with changing rooms is building L.

The campus is located just of Rue General Jacques. To get there, public transport is by far the easiest way. The Petillon metro stop on the Hermann Debroux line is probably the handiest - about a 5 minute walk. Trams 23 and 24 also stop nearby.

For those of you who drive, to gain access to the university you have to send your name, address phone number, and car reg no. to Colin Byrne (football.belgium@gmail.com) so that he can forward it to the VUB.

DIRECTIONS:

From Sq. Montgomery, take the Av Tervuren south-east (past Blvd Souverain and through the woods) for 6 km.

At the junction 'Quatre-Bras' (exit no.1 from the Ring) continue on Av.Tervuren for 3 km until the 2nd roundabout.

Take the 3rd exit (still Av.Tervuren) and after 500m find the African museum on the right.

500m further on is the BSB entrance again on the right, opposite the bar 'Europa'.
